As an extension to your current brainstorming we present the problem solving kit. Tamariki can be prompted to use these ideas to solve hypothetical or real problems. A suggestion for application is that you cut out these images and stick them to a white board or make them into cards so that you can use them in your current brainstorming work but also leave a set available to tamariki for their own use and discussion. Everyday we are working with our tamariki helping them identify and work through BIG feelings.To that end here is my first 8. With some children you can ask them to suggest the feelings of each character or alternately you can ask tamariki which one of these is ... worried.
